Frank A. Bailey has devoted his legal career to helping individuals and families throughout Connecticut address complex legal challenges after serious injuries and workplace accidents. Based in Bridgeport and practicing with Tremont Sheldon PC since 1987, he represents clients in Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs and Workers' Compensation Law - Claimants matters, including claims involving negligence, medical malpractice, and legal malpractice.
Frank believes that every case begins with listening carefully to the client’s story and understanding how an injury has affected daily life, work, and family. He approaches each matter with thoughtful preparation, clear communication, and attention to detail in order to present clients’ cases effectively to judges, juries, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.
A Connecticut native, Frank was born in New Haven and raised in Bethany. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. After being admitted to the bar, he joined Tremont Sheldon PC, where he has spent his entire legal career representing injured individuals across Connecticut.
In addition to his work on behalf of clients, Frank has remained active in the legal community. He previously served as President of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association and as Chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Since 2013, he has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, a peer-review publication within the legal profession. He has also been named a Connecticut Super Lawyer and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for professional ability and ethical standards.
Outside the office, Frank enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, baseball, and home improvement projects. A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, he has spent time hiking portions of the Appalachian Trail and visiting trails throughout New England. He is also active in the community and serves on the board of directors of the Orange Foundation, which supports scholarships and local community service organizations.
