Franck Morel advises companies on employment law, with a particular focus on working time regulations, collective bargaining, employee representation, and managing organizational change, all areas in which he has developed recognized expertise, both in legal advice and litigation.
He also has in-depth knowledge of non-standard forms of employment (such as temporary work, umbrella companies, and freelance platforms), religious matters in the workplace, and professional training.
He supports a wide range of clients, from businesses to professional bodies and industry associations, and regularly speaks at conferences and training sessions.
A well-established figure in French employment law, Franck previously served as advisor to four Ministers of Labour (2007–2012). From 2017 to 2020, he was social affairs and employment advisor to Prime Minister Édouard Philippe, contributing to the development of more than a dozen key reforms.
Franck holds a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management from IAE Lyon III and began his career as a labor inspector. He trained at the National Institute for Labour, Employment and Vocational Training (INTEFP), where he later served as director of training from 2001 to 2006.
He has written several books, including Un autre droit du travail est possible (Fayard, 2016, co-authored with Bertrand Martinot), Durée et aménagement du temps de travail (9th ed., Revue Fiduciaire, 2021), and Contrôle de la formation professionnelle et du compte personnel de formation (Groupe Revue Fiduciaire, 2023, with Amandine Vetu). He is also a regular contributor to specialist legal publications.
