Francis (“Pete”) J. Jones, Jr. spends his time serving our clients between the Broom Street office in Wilmington (New Castle County) and our Georgetown office (Sussex County). With over 30 years of experience, he has helped many clients who have been injured in personal injury accidents. Pete has also been involved in several precedent setting cases.
Pete’s practice focuses on helping individuals who are injured as a result of automobile accidents, defective products, and premises liability. He also handles workers' compensation claims. Pete is an Alternative Dispute Resolution practitioner, serving as both a mediator and/or arbitrator for Delaware cases. Pete is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates which is an invitational organization that requires as admission at least 20 civil jury trials. Pete is a past president of this group and will serve another two year term in 2017 and 2018.
Pete Jones serves on the Board of Directors of the National High School Mock Trial Program, Chair Rules Committee, Former Chair. In this role, Pete co-coached a local high school team. He remains involved in the organization of the program.
Among his peers, Pete has been consistently recognized by Delaware Today and Delaware Super Lawyers® as an outstanding Delaware lawyer in the fields of personal injury and alternative dispute resolution. Pete has also been recognized as the Delaware State Bar Association (Distinguished Mentor Award) and Middle States Counsel for Social Studies (Distinguished Service Award).
Besides the time Pete dedicates to Mock Trial, he enjoys golf, watching sports, and spending time at the beach with his wife, Michelle, and his children, Peter and Maggie.
