Francis “Rasch” H. Brown is an experienced trial lawyer who advises clients throughout the United States on tort litigation and commercial disputes, with an emphasis on product liability defense. In the products liability field, he has tried more than 35 cases to conclusion obtaining defense verdicts in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas. Rasch is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Highly regarded for his ability to communicate scientific and technical information in a way that is understandable to judges and juries, Rasch has successfully defended manufacturers of motor vehicles, tires, cranes and other heavy equipment, woodworking power tools, chemicals, industrial equipment, bicycles, ladders, water heaters, washers, dryers, lanyards, and a variety of consumer products. The cases he has defended frequently involve fires, explosions, or catastrophic personal injuries. Manufacturers have sought Rasch’s advice on product safety issues related to product warnings and product recalls.
Rasch has also applied his courtroom experience to serve as lead counsel in commercial disputes involving claims for breach of contract, indemnification, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and unfair trade practices. He has also defended employment-related claims including suits involving employment contracts, wrongful termination, misappropriation of trade secrets, and claims of discrimination based on age, sex, and race.
