Felicia Yifan Jin

Felicia Jin is a lawyer in the Corporate/Commercial practice group in our Montréal office. She practises in the fields of private equity and venture capital, as well as mergers and acquisitions, with a particular focus on the financial industry.

Felicia advises several Canadian and foreign financial institutions on the regulatory framework with respect to insurance, loans, deposits, payments, and other financial products and services. She regularly works with lenders, money services businesses, as well as Fintechs and Insurtechs in providing legal advice on compliance and consumer protection. Felicia helps clients implement their new business models and navigate the various existing and upcoming regulatory regimes, particularly in the area of cryptocurrencies and other virtual assets, and in the implementation of open banking in Canada.
