Felicia Harris Hoss serves clients throughout Pearland, Texas and the surrounding areas through her work at Harris Hoss PLLC, focusing on Arbitration, Commercial Litigation, and Mediation. For more than 20 years, she has represented individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses in complex civil and commercial disputes, helping parties evaluate risk, navigate conflict, and pursue practical resolutions both inside and outside the courtroom.
Felicia has experience working with plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving privately held and publicly traded companies with local, national, and international operations. Her practice includes disputes involving contractual rights, negligence, personal injury and wrongful death claims, partnership disputes, trade secrets, employment agreements, non-compete and non-solicitation matters, fraud, business disparagement and defamation, fiduciary duties, corporate governance, employment laws, lease agreements, landlord-tenant disputes, nursing home operations, product liability, seismic exploration rights, real property interests, UCC matters, and warranty claims.
Through years of handling complex legal and business disputes, Felicia understands the challenges clients and counsel face when balancing litigation strategy, business objectives, and the potential benefits of negotiated resolution. Her experience in commercial litigation, mediation, and arbitration allows her to work effectively with parties seeking to manage conflict while preserving important legal and business interests.
As a mediator, Felicia facilitates productive discussions designed to help parties evaluate options for risk management and dispute resolution in a confidential setting. She works with attorneys, businesses, and individuals across a wide range of industries and disputes, drawing on her litigation background and negotiation experience to assist parties during the mediation process.
Felicia also serves as an arbitrator and understands the importance of neutrality, fairness, and careful consideration of the issues presented by all parties. She is committed to maintaining an impartial process and fostering confidence in the arbitration proceeding.
Outside of her legal practice, Felicia remains active in the community. She currently serves as a Director and volunteer mediator and arbitrator for the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center and received the Houston Bar Foundation’s 2021 Award for Outstanding Contribution to the DRC. Her prior community involvement includes service on the Steering Committee for Emerging Women Leaders through the Greater Houston Partnership, the Advisory Board for Woodway Financial Advisors, the Pearland Economic Development Corporation, and the Pearland Adult Reading Center. She is also a graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future Leadership Forum. In addition, Felicia served two elected terms as a Councilmember for the City of Pearland and served as Mayor Pro Tem from 2009-2010.
