F. Lane "Lane" Finch, Jr.

Lane Finch is an analytical and creative problem solver with 37 years' experience advising insurance carriers on a broad range of claims and coverage disputes and litigating coverage and bad faith claims. He handles a broad spectrum of insurance-related litigation, such as claims for construction defects, products liability, professional liability, property claims, catastrophic injury, death, and bad faith claims involving millions and even hundreds of millions of dollars.

Leveraging his vast experience and extensive understanding of insurance coverage and insurance-related litigation, Lane also works with clients to reduce their liability through ADR, acting as an advocate or as a mediator/arbitrator.

Lane’s clients benefit from his role and experience as a leader in the insurance industry, including his service as the Chair of the DRI's Insurance Law Committee and his involvement in the International Association of Defense Counsel. Through his DRI and IADC leadership, Lane is uniquely positioned to stay abreast of the latest trends in insurance issues, including how courts are behaving and in what direction decisions are trending.
