"Carlton is highly regarded in his profession. I came to Carlton on the recommendation of several lawyer friends. He is always well prepared and several steps ahead of his competition. Carlton gives me a very secure feeling that things are being well taken care of. I would recommend him to anyone."

- Cleve Meredith (William C. Meredith Co.), East Point, GA

"Carlton has represented our association for over 30 years and I have personally worked with him since 1991. He has served as a legal advisor to a large association-sponsored, self-insured fund; he has represented us in arbitration and provides general legal advice. He is quick, articulate, analytical, and makes sound calls with precision - all of which we have followed, without regret, over our 30-year relationship. I consider Carlton a close advisor and a true member of our association Team who gives me confidence to pursue the often-aggressive goals of our association."

- Stephen Rountree (Southeastern Lumber Manfacturers Association), Forest Park, GA

"Carlton King is an outstanding lawyer and valued member of our team. Carlton's legal advice is always sound and timely. His general business advice is of the same caliber."

- Paul McKittrick (Ashton Woods Homes), Roswell, GA

"Carlton has represented my company and me in several matters over the past two decades. He has a real gift for going to the heart of any problem and, consequently, does not waste time or resources. His thought process is always pragmatic, cogent, and well reasoned. I have found him to have a refreshing "sense of urgency" as it applies to addressing communications to all parties involved, as well as his attention to me as a client. This trait is unusual based on my experience with the legal profession during my 30-year career. I highly recommend Carlton to anyone interested in an intelligent, practical, and forceful advocate."

- Laurence Mansfield (Peachtree Construction Co.), Atlanta, GA

"I worked very closely with Carlton on an arbitration that included full discovery and a one-week trial. He is a pleasure to work with. He did not pull punches as he determined our strengths and weaknesses; we worked together to develop a strategy to keep things as simple as possible in a somewhat complicated situation. He was always responsive and direct in our communications. He is clearly a trial lawyer with his own style that I found to be very effective. He focused on the material issues and did not get caught up in the mountain of details. Most of all, he is an excellent litigator (with a good sense of humor) and an advocate extraordinaire. If I (or my family) ever needed a litigator personally, Carlton is the person I would reach out to!"

- Mark Hain (AssuranceAmerica Corporation), Atlanta, GA
