Ethan Woelke

Ethan Woelke is responsible for portfolio management and patent preparation and prosecution of design and utility applications in a wide range of technologies including industrial chemicals, medical devices, automotive systems, electrochemistry, materials science, and consumer electronics. Mr. Woelke additionally has experience in patent portfolio analysis and design enforcement.

Mr. Woelke’s undergraduate research focused on halogen exchange mechanisms of alkyl chains using gas chromatography mass spectrometry. The subject of his senior thesis was a morbidity study of channel catfish downstream of the Velsicol Chemical Corp. Superfund Site on the Pine River. Mr. Woelke spent two years as an organic chemistry teaching assistant and a laboratory technician. During law school, Mr. Woelke worked as a summer intern for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and as a law clerk for Young Basile and another local law firm.
