Emma advises on commercial, industrial and retail leasing, including drafting and negotiating lease documentation for landlords and tenants in large leasing transactions. She advises on property acquisitions and disposals and conducts substantial property due diligence for buyers and sellers in corporate mergers and acquisitions. Her work spans contracts of sale, agreements for lease, rent review mechanisms, lease incentives, indemnities and rights of first refusal.
Emma has advised on significant leasing transactions including the negotiation of an agreement for lease and lease for GeelongPort in connection with TT-Line's relocation of the Spirit of Tasmania ferry from Melbourne's Station Pier to Geelong. She has also conducted property due diligence for major corporate M&A transactions, advised a university on its premises relocation, and acted as team member on an advanced recycling facility project.
