Emanuel Álvarez Pérez

Emanuel Álvarez Pérez is the Founder and Managing Partner of Asertis Legal Group LLC, where his practice focuses on labor and employment law, commercial and civil litigation, corporate counseling, administrative matters, and notarial services. Before founding Asertis Legal Group, Emanuel practiced at Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the largest labor and employment law firms in the United States, where he represented and advised employers on a broad range of workplace matters. His experience includes employment litigation, wrongful termination and discrimination claims, workplace investigations and disputes, employment policies and handbooks, labor and employment compliance, and day-to-day counseling of employers. Previously, Emanuel practiced at Estrella, LLC, where he represented businesses and individuals in complex litigation and employment matters. His experience spans commercial and contractual disputes, employment litigation, premises liability, medical malpractice, administrative proceedings, gaming law, and defamation matters. He has handled matters throughout all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, court conferences, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Emanuel earned his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law. His academic and professional achievements include attaining the seventh-highest score on the March 2023 Puerto Rico General Bar Examination and the tenth-highest score on the September 2023 Puerto Rico Notarial Bar Examination, as well as receiving recognition for earning the highest grade in Corporate Law.
