Ellen Low is the managing partner and principal lawyer of Ellen Low & Co. She began her career by articling at Gowlings in Ottawa before moving to Toronto. She then practiced as a partner with a boutique employment-law firm for nearly a decade.
Ellen founded Ellen Low & Co. in 2018 to continue to provide a select group of individuals and small businesses with strategic advice, critical evaluations, and pragmatic advocacy on all facets of workplace law.
Ellen regularly represents clients in court and at tribunals; but is equally well versed in mediation and arbitration advocacy where she assists clients in navigating alternative dispute resolutions and negotiated settlements.
She is a frequent author and guest speaker having appeared on TVO, in interviews with the Globe and Mail and Macleans magazine, and is a frequent contributor to the Law Times, Canadian Human Rights Reporter, CBC, Canadian Employment Law Today, and Canadian Lawyer Magazine.
