Elise Ruff Winter

Ms. Ruff Winter is a Partner at Lipe Lyons Murphy Nahrstadt & Pontikis LTD, where she focuses her practice on the defense of commercial, construction, premises liability, product liability, and transportation claims. Her work includes representing defendants in Personal Injury Litigation and matters involving Transportation Law.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ruff Winter practiced at a Chicago, Illinois–based civil litigation firm, handling medical malpractice, long-term care, and wrongful death matters. Her background includes involvement in all phases of litigation, from case evaluation and discovery through motion practice and trial preparation.

Ms. Ruff Winter also served as an intern for the Honorable Justice Robert E. Gordon of the Illinois Appellate Court, where she assisted with legal research and the drafting of judicial opinions addressing a range of legal issues.
