Eliot M. Harris

Eliot Harris is a Seattle-based attorney who focuses on commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters. He represents clients in disputes involving insurance coverage, product liability, shareholder claims, commercial contracts, real estate, intellectual property, premises liability, and professional negligence. He is licensed to practice in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska.

Eliot regularly advises clients on pre-litigation claim evaluation and insurance coverage analysis, and represents them in coverage disputes and insurance bad faith litigation. His experience includes a wide range of insurance lines, including commercial general liability, employment practices liability, errors and omissions, directors and officers liability, liquor liability, homeowners, commercial property, auto, and marine insurance.

He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation (2024–2026) and has been repeatedly named a “Rising Star” by Washington Law and Politics Magazine.

Eliot serves on the board of directors of Williams Kastner and is active in national and regional legal organizations, including the American Bar Association, DRI, IRMI, and CLM. He is a past chair of the Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Committee of the ABA’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section and currently serves on the TIPS CLE Board Standing Committee and as vice chair of the TIPS Property Insurance Litigation Committee.

He has also contributed to the legal community through service with the Washington State Bar Association Committee of Law Examiners and by providing pro bono legal advice through the King County Bar Association Neighborhood Legal Clinic program.
