Edward “Eddie” Bagnell serves on the executive committee of Spotts Fain PC and is secretary of the firm. Based in Richmond, Virginia, Eddie represents businesses, property owners, employers, insurers, and individuals in a broad range of civil litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout Virginia.
Eddie’s practice includes Commercial Litigation, Litigation - Labor and Employment, and Litigation - Real Estate, as well as matters involving business torts, eminent domain, construction disputes, insurance coverage and defense, and estate litigation. He has experience handling trials, appeals, and proceedings before the Virginia State Corporation Commission.
Eddie regularly serves as lead and local counsel in complex litigation in the Eastern District of Virginia. His experience includes securities fraud class actions, Lanham Act claims, qui tam actions, patent litigation, and a variety of commercial disputes. He works with clients to address litigation challenges efficiently while developing strategies tailored to the facts and goals of each matter.
