Eduardo de Nieves has a degree in Law (2007) and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid (ICADE E-3). He completed his University experience with a semester in Copenhagen Business School (Denmark).
During its University years, he was very interested in public law. He was honoured to be public law department scholarship assistant for two years (2005-2006 and 2006-2007). He also collaborated as a scholarship assistant for the World Economy department in the Business Adminsitration area.
After its graduation, he worked as associate lawyer from September 2008 to October 2011 in the department of public and regulatory law at the Madrid Office of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, where he acquired a wide professional experience in environmental law, energy law, public procurement law, ligation, urban planning law and pharmaceutical law, between others.During his professional career in Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, he teached several courses of public law for lawyers.
In October 2011 he decided to study a Business Law Master’s degree (LLM) at Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, where he graduated with Distinction.
Since September 2012, Eduardo works at Del Pozo & De la Cuadra, firm in which he is deals with a wide range of legal matters in the environmental field such as waste, air pollution, climate change, noise, water, natural areas, agriculture and food law, as well as in the energy field, covering the electric, the natural gas and the petroleum sector, biofuels and mining.
