Eduardo A. "Eddie" Duffy

Eduardo “Eddie” A. Duffy is a shareholder at Sutin, Thayer & Browne APC and serves on the firm’s board of directors as Treasurer. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, he works with companies, public entities, and local governments on a wide range of business and finance-related matters.

Eddie advises clients on local economic development incentives, including industrial revenue bonds and transactions under the New Mexico Local Economic Development Act (LEDA). His practice includes Commercial Transactions / UCC Law, Corporate Law, Public Finance Law, and Securities / Capital Markets Law. He regularly assists clients with structuring and documenting complex commercial transactions and navigating applicable regulatory requirements.

In his corporate and securities practice, Eddie represents public and private companies in securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, reorganizations, and ongoing business operations. He also counsels clients on state tax abatements and public finance structures designed to support economic development projects throughout New Mexico.
