Eddy Atallah assists attorneys serving as outside counsel for local hospital systems and medical centers by drafting and implementing health care policies and procedures on state and federal privacy, fraud, waste, and abuse laws. Eddy works on the transactional side, focusing his practice on business guidance related to the life sciences. In addition, Eddy assists with administrative litigation matters including revocation of licensure, clinical privileges, and peer review hearings.
Prior to joining MMM, Eddy assisted in matters relating to business litigation and transactions, employment, estate planning, and insurance defense. He also interned for a Chief Judge Jess Hanson in the State Court of Bibb County, for the Georgia Hospital Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and for Cotiviti. Before pursuing a career in law, Eddy received training in epidemiology, biostatistics, and biology.
