Biography

Douglas Bramley represents employees and employers in all aspects of employment law. He has successfully represented hundreds of clients in state and federal court proceedings involving claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblowing, wrongful discharge, retaliation, breach of contract, violation of civil rights, defamation, tortious interference and related claims.

He also has extensive experience in litigation involving the enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation clauses as well as in negotiating, mediating and arbitrating employment disputes. Mr. Bramley represents clients before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and New Jersey Division on Civil Rights. He also handles reductions-in-force and the drafting and negotiating of employment contracts, restrictive covenants and severance agreements.

Mr. Bramley is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited to attorneys who have won multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Fewer than 1% of attorneys in the United States are members.

Mr. Bramley has been selected by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in America® (2009-2020) in the specialty of Employment Law, Individuals. In addition, from 2014 to 2020, Mr. Bramley has been selected to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the State are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. From 2006 to 2013, Mr. Bramley was listed as a New Jersey Super Lawyer, Rising Star, which is an honor given to only 2.5 percent of New Jersey attorneys.

Mr. Bramley has served as the Chair of the Labor & Employment Law Committee of the Monmouth County Bar Association for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 terms, and as a Sub-Committee Co-Chair for the NJSBA Labor & Employment Law Section.
