Douglas is an experienced trial lawyer and has handled all aspects of major injury litigation and other complex matters. He has particular expertise in the management of complex litigation, with an emphasis on developing strategies to weaken plaintiff inventories. He has been responsible for case specific discovery in major multi-district litigations and has successfully defended numerous multi-billion dollar false claims act, consumer fraud, and anti-trust actions brought by State Attorney Generals. Douglas served as an adjunct professor of law in Moot Court at Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. He has authored and co-authored journal articles as well as seminar manuscripts for professional institutes and associations around the country. He is a frequent speaker on subjects of trial tactics, trial graphics, and professionalism.
