Doug Wallace

Doug is the managing partner at Wallace Smith LLP, a 6-lawyer civil litigation boutique in London, Ontario.

His practice focuses on personal injury, health law, professional negligence and insurance law.

Doug is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in Civil Litigation.

He has extensive trial and appeal experience. He has handled cases at the Ontario Superior Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He also appears at arbitrations and appeals before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, License Appeal Tribunal, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, and at private arbitrations involving loss transfer and priority disputes.

Doug is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences organized by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Middlesex Law Association, the Advocates’ Society, and the London Claims Association as well as various industry and medical associations. He has also authored articles for law and advocacy journals.

He is a member of the Advocates’ Society, Middlesex Law Association, London Claims Association and Canadian Defence Lawyers.

He is also a strong supporter of community causes and is married with four children.
