Dina Hamerman

Dina Hamerman is a commercial litigator who focuses on complex civil and employment litigation. Dina represents a diverse roster of clients from national hospitality groups to mid-size and small companies on matters ranging from employment discrimination to premises liability defense to contract disputes and business divorces. Dina often serves as local counsel to large corporations, applying her civil procedure expertise to litigation in both New York federal and state courts.

As part of her broad-based employment practice, Dina counsels companies and religious institutions on employment best practices and litigation avoidance. She also represents both companies and individuals in negotiating employment and severance agreements and the enforcement of restrictive covenants. She also counsels and represents corporate clients in website-related litigation under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Dina started her career at New York City firm Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where she focused on white-collar defense and general commercial litigation matters. She conducted numerous internal and external investigations under the Securities Exchange Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and state insurance laws. Dina also represented clients across a broad range of products liability and commercial disputes.

After graduating from Columbia Law School, Dina served as a federal law clerk to Judge Alfred M. Wolin of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and Judge Leonard I. Garth of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
