Devin Ricci is a partner in Kean Miller’s Intellectual Property practice and a registered patent attorney based in New Orleans. He advises and represents clients in trademark, patent, trade secret, copyright, and related intellectual property matters, including litigation, prosecution, portfolio strategy and management, licensing, and IP transactions.
Devin has handled hundreds of trademark and patent matters. His practice includes trademark clearance and registration, domestic and international brand portfolios, patent prosecution and strategy, TTAB proceedings, freedom-to-operate and design-around analysis, licensing, and IP due diligence. He also represents clients in patent, trademark, trade dress, trade secret, and copyright disputes.
A substantial portion of Devin’s technical IP work involves energy and industrial technologies, including oilfield and offshore technologies, industrial equipment and systems, chemicals, and related products and services. He also works with emerging and growth companies as they develop and commercialize new technologies and brands.
