Devin Brunson is the managing partner of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara’s Denver office.
Mr. Brunson is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience handling complex civil and commercial litigation matters, including large-loss general liability, wrongful death/catastrophic injury, premises liability, construction defect, public-entity defense, and commercial auto/trucking. His practice areas also include business litigation, along with employment, corporate law, and sports/entertainment. Mr. Brunson is regularly retained by high-profile clients to provide strategic guidance and innovative approaches to resolving high-profile contentious disputes.
Mr. Brunson has successfully secured trial results for his clients, including a verdict exceeding $4 million in a breach-of-contract/alter-ego case, as well as the defense of preliminary injunction claims against high-profile executives. During his time at Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, Mr. Brunson has represented some of Colorado’s largest municipalities and corporations in high-exposure matters totaling more than $500 million in claims. Mr. Brunson regularly represents builders, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in multi-million-dollar construction defect suits.
Mr. Brunson is also a licensed NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor and has negotiated more than a dozen NFL contracts. He has handled multiple disciplinary appeals and arbitrations for NFL clients and has negotiated recording artist contracts with some of the world’s largest music labels.
Mr. Brunson’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from Arizona State University. Thereafter, he graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law.
