Detlef von Schultz

Dr Detlef von Schultz studied law at the universities of Hamburg and Heidelberg. During his legal clerkship he earned his doctorate at the University of Hamburg. Since his admission to the bar in 1989, Dr Detlef von Schultz has been active in the area of intellectual property law. He specializes in trademark law and design protection. Dr Detlef von Schultz represents international manufacturers of branded goods and luxury goods – with a special focus on product piracy. Dr Detlef von Schultz has published the commentary “Trademark Law” in its 3rd edition, which was published by Deutscher Fachverlag. The annual JUVE handbooks identify Dr Detlef von Schultz as a frequently recommended attorney in the area of trademark and design law and competition law.
