Denton Woods is a partner at RMP LLP in Springdale, Arkansas, where he has practiced since joining the firm in January 2006. He became an associate attorney in August 2007 and was admitted as a partner in January 2012. Denton earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton School of Business, his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Denton’s practice includes Business Organizations, including LLCs and Partnerships, Tax Law, and Trusts and Estates. His work regularly involves estate planning, probate and trust administration, tax planning, business law matters such as mergers and acquisitions, and representation of tax-exempt organizations. He is admitted to practice law in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, and before the United States Tax Court.
In addition to his private practice, Denton remains active in public service. In September 2017, Governor Asa Hutchinson appointed him to the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy. Through his work at RMP LLP, Denton assists individuals, families, and businesses throughout Northwest Arkansas with legal planning and compliance matters tailored to their long-term goals.
