Denisse Escalante Gil

Tax professional with more than 6 years of experience advising national and international clients on tax obligations, specifically in the area of fiscal consulting and compliance, corporate restructurings, due diligence procedures and tax controversies.

Denisse has worked with clients across a range of industries, including infrastructure, energy, oil and gas, education and consumer products.

Prior to joining Sánchez Devanny, she worked in an international consulting firm and in the tax department of a multinational group in the beverage industry. Her main responsibilities consisted in tax audit procedures and federal tax refund requests before the Tax Authorities, obtaining favorable results in most cases.

Additionally, Denisse participated in filing defense legal actions before the Procuraduría de la Defensa del Contribuyente (PRODECON) in order to prove and settle the alleged omission of taxes determined by the Tax Authorities.
