Dawn Helms Sharff

Dawn has broad experience representing both lenders and borrowers in commercial lending transactions, with a particular emphasis on transactions involving commercial real estate. She also represents public companies, privately held entities and individuals in all types of commercial real estate transactions, including the buying, selling, leasing and developing of commercial real estate nationwide.

Dawn represents a number of financial institutions on syndicated and non-syndicated construction loans, interim and permanent loans, subscription facilities, corporate revolvers and other commercial financing transactions. Dawn's commercial real estate practice includes representation of large companies that own and/or lease real estate assets across the United States as a part of their business operations, as well as developers of projects nationwide. She has closed transactions involving multifamily, retail, office, healthcare, condominium and timber properties. Dawn serves as primary outside counsel for a student housing developer with projects across the country, and she, along with the legal team she has assembled, coordinates all real estate acquisition, development and financing matters for that client.
