David Zagoria

I have practiced law for more than 30 years, representing individuals and families throughout Atlanta and across Georgia. Before founding Zagoria Neely Injury Attorneys, I served as a Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County and as a prosecutor in Gwinnett and DeKalb Counties. My background in the courtroom provides valuable insight when handling complex personal injury matters and advocating for injured clients.

I help people who have suffered serious injuries due to negligence. I prepare every case thoroughly for trial, drawing on decades of litigation and courtroom experience to get great result for clients in negotiations and before juries. My practice has a strong focus on dog bite and animal attack cases, as well as other serious injury claims throughout Georgia.

Over the course of my career, I have handled significant cases that have contributed to the development of Georgia law and secured millions for injured individuals and their families. I am the author of two books related to dog bite litigation and victim rights, “A Plaintiff Attorney’s Guide to Winning Dog Bite Cases” and “Dog Attack, A Guide for Victims and Their Families.” I previously served as president, vice-president, and secretary of the Atlanta Bar Association Animal Law Section and frequently speak to attorneys and legal organizations on personal injury and trial-related topics.

I graduated from Trial Lawyers College in 2018, a national program focused on trial advocacy and courtroom skills. In 2023, I was invited to join the Trial Lawyers College faculty. I also serve as an elected representative on the organization’s F Warrior Board, supporting alumni and continuing legal education initiatives.
