David Pierce

David Pierce is a corporate attorney and Corporate Group Chair at Founders Legal in Atlanta, Georgia. He advises high-growth SaaS and technology companies throughout the business lifecycle, from early-stage corporate governance and compliance to commercial contracting, capital raises, strategic partnerships, and exit transactions. His practice focuses on helping companies build scalable legal frameworks that support revenue growth, efficient operations, and long-term business objectives.

Before entering private practice, David spent nearly a decade working in the communications technology sector. His experience in enterprise technology sales, IT security, and data privacy informs a practical approach to corporate law and technology transactions. He works closely with founders and in-house teams to streamline sales documentation, reduce contracting friction, and structure partner ecosystems, including referral arrangements, reseller programs, sponsorships, and strategic integrations.

David also advises software and product-driven companies on intellectual property law matters, including licensing structures, monetization strategies, and trademark portfolio development. He previously worked with intellectual property assets at AT&T and Aptean, gaining hands-on experience with IP management and commercialization.
