David O. Barrett was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. After passing the Illinois Bar Examination in 2007, David joined Cooney & Conway LLP in Chicago, Illinois, where he represents individuals and families affected by asbestos-related diseases.
David’s practice focuses on personal injury litigation involving asbestos exposure. He has pursued claims against manufacturers, suppliers, and other companies accused of exposing individuals to asbestos without adequate warnings or safety measures. His work includes representing clients and families seeking accountability for the consequences of asbestos-related illness.
David has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
