David Krogh

David Krogh joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2022 and focuses his practice on Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs. Based in Durham, North Carolina, David is committed to helping injured individuals understand their legal rights and navigate the personal injury claims process with clarity and care.

During college, David began tutoring at the same high school where his father taught. That role later developed into his own teaching assignment after graduation. His background in education continues to influence the way he works with clients today, emphasizing clear communication and patience. Client feedback often reflects his ability to explain complex legal issues in a straightforward and approachable way. David also draws on the compassion and interpersonal skills he developed as a teacher when assisting clients facing difficult circumstances.

David later transitioned from teaching to pursue a legal career, working for two years as a legal assistant and estate planning paralegal in Florida. In that role, he served as the primary point of contact for estate planning and probate matters, developing strong organizational, time management, and client service skills. In 2019, David earned his Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law. While in law school, he received an academic scholarship, earned placement on the Dean’s List, received two Book Awards, and participated in the school’s mediation clinic.

As the first attorney in his family, David credits his parents with instilling a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. Just before beginning law school, David experienced the loss of his mother, an event that shaped his perspective and reinforced his desire to help others move forward after unexpected hardships. Today, he brings that understanding and dedication to his work representing plaintiffs in personal injury litigation at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin.
