David Shank is a trial lawyer at Scott Douglass & McConnico LLP in Austin, Texas, representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings across the country. His practice includes disputes involving trade secret misappropriation, securities fraud, class actions, business torts, contract disputes, and matters involving rare and valuable art. David regularly serves as first-chair trial counsel and has substantial experience examining and cross-examining witnesses, presenting oral argument, and handling dispositive and other significant motions throughout all stages of litigation.

Before joining Scott Douglass & McConnico LLP in August 2015, David practiced at Susman Godfrey L.L.P. Earlier in his career, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Barbara M.G. Lynn of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
