David Wilson, a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, is an independent international and U.S. arbitrator and mediator who handles complex, high-stakes commercial and IP disputes, focusing on the energy and technology sectors, among others. A Colorado lawyer and Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, he has 70+ arbitral appointments (chair, panelist, sole arbitrator, and emergency arbitrator) under ICDR, AAA, ICC and other rules, with about 30 international appointments and with amounts in dispute up to $640 million to date. With 40 years' experience practicing law, he is available nationally and globally.
Named Best Lawyers' 2024 and 2021 Denver Arbitration Lawyer of the Year), he is the former Vice Chair of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR and co-chaired two Commission Task Forces and has been a member to the U.S. delegation to the Commission since 2004. A member of the American Law Institute, he served as chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s International Law Section, among other leadership roles in professional organizations. As a trial lawyer, he won what was then reported to be Colorado's largest jury verdict, $125.5 million.

Before founding David B. Wilson Dispute Resolution LLC in 2024, he was a member of Sherman & Howard L.L.C., which he joined in 2013 after 27 years with Holme Roberts & Owen LLP/Bryan Cave HRO as a partner and associate.
