David B. Goodman

With more than 30 years of experience representing clients in their toughest disputes, David is known for his twin gifts of tenacity and patience. David draws on his extensive first-chair trial experience to help clients manage risks, take proactive steps to avoid the disruption and cost of litigation, and, when necessary, fight aggressively in court to protect their interests.

In his commercial litigation practice, David has developed a special focus on insurance litigation, advocating for the rights of policyholders under their insurance policies. In recognition of his exceptional skills and experience in this area, David was elected a Fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel in 2021.

David also helps clients resolve a wide range of complex commercial disputes involving business owners, vendors, and customers, including “business divorces,” indemnification disputes, business torts, shareholder and partnership disputes, trade secret disputes, and contract disputes.
