David A. Kulwicki is a trial attorney with more than 29 years of experience representing individuals and families in complex medical malpractice and personal injury matters. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, he practices with Mishkind Kulwicki Law Co. LPA, focusing primarily on Medical Malpractice Law – Plaintiffs.
Mr. Kulwicki earned his undergraduate degree in economics with honors from the University of Texas at Austin and received his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University School of Law. Throughout his career, he has handled a wide range of medical negligence cases involving serious injuries, surgical errors, delayed diagnosis, hospital negligence, and birth-related injuries.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Kulwicki has served in leadership positions within legal organizations throughout Ohio. He is a former Chairman of the Medical Negligence Section of the Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ) and former Chairman of the organization’s Constitutional Review Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys.
Mr. Kulwicki has lectured and written on topics related to personal injury litigation and medical negligence law. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the American Bar Association (ABA), the Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ), and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys (CATA).
His professional recognitions include selection to Ohio Super Lawyers since 2012, an honor awarded to a limited percentage of attorneys in the state. In 2017, he was selected for inclusion in the National Trial Lawyers: Brain Injury Trial Lawyers Association Top 25 in Ohio.
