Danny Duy Vu

Danny Duy Vu is a partner in the Restructuring and Insolvency Group and in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. His practice focuses on restructuring and insolvency matters, as well as on commercial litigation matters. Danny has significant experience in Canadian and cross-border corporate restructurings, recapitalization transactions, liquidations, financing and distressed sale and acquisitions of financially troubled businesses. He is regularly called upon to advise and represent debtors in several industry areas, creditors, lenders (including interim lenders), court-appointed officers, purchasers and other stakeholders in the context of complex restructuring and insolvency matters, including in proceedings commenced under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Canada Business Corporations Act.

Danny has successfully represented clients before first instance and appellate courts in several jurisdictions across Canada, as well as before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Over the course of the past few years, Danny has been recognized in the fields of financial restructuring and commercial litigation by several publications, including The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and Best Lawyers in Canada.
