Danielle is the Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group and serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee. She is also a member of the firm’s Business, Energy & Environmental, Health Care, and EMERGE practice groups. She represents developers, lenders, investors, businesses, property owners, landlords, tenants, condominium associations, and homeowners associations in a wide range of commercial and residential real estate matters.
Danielle’s experience includes contract drafting and negotiation; closings and settlements; lease preparation and review for landlords and tenants; title review; loan transactions for lenders and borrowers; construction contracts; real estate covenants and easements; condominium conversions; and matters relating to commercial condominiums, homeowners associations and other common interest ownership projects. She works with business owners, management companies and property owners to advance and protect their interests.
Danielle’s practice also focuses on real estate matters related to renewable energy projects, including utility-scale solar and community solar developments. She assists clients with due diligence reviews, title and survey matters, property tax considerations, recordation and transfer taxes, and the negotiation of solar leases, options, easements, and other site control agreements.
Danielle frequently serves as local Maryland and local Virginia counsel for multistate real estate transactions, providing guidance on state-specific requirements, local practices, and real estate documentation.
