Daniel R. Fogarty joined Stichter, Riedel, Blain & Postler, P.A. in 2006 after graduating with high honors from the University of Florida College of Law. Following law school, he served as a law clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division, gaining firsthand experience with complex bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
Based in Tampa, Florida, Mr. Fogarty focuses his practice on Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law, as well as Litigation - Bankruptcy. He regularly represents debtors, official committees, creditors, trustees, purchasers of assets, and other parties in interest in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
Mr. Fogarty has served as lead counsel for debtors in possession in numerous Chapter 11 cases, including matters involving real estate, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, software development, and other industries. His experience includes representing companies in successful Subchapter V cases and advising clients on restructuring strategies tailored to their business and financial circumstances.
In addition to debtor representations, Mr. Fogarty is frequently involved in representing creditors and other stakeholders in large Chapter 11 cases pending throughout the United States. He also represents debtors, trustees, and parties in interest in Chapter 7 cases, handling contested matters and litigation arising in bankruptcy proceedings.
