Daniel Picotte joined the Firm in 1978 and became a partner in 1986. His practice was centred on business law and allowed him to develop cutting-edge expertise in the areas of transactions, restructurings and major investments in public or industrial infrastructure, in addition to offering clients seasoned counsel in Canadian and international markets.
In 2020, he joined the Firm’s senior management as General Counsel. In this role, he was primarily responsible for managing compliance and all legal risks associated with the Firm’s activities. In 2026, Daniel stepped into a Special Advisory role with Fasken.
