Dan King concentrates his practice at the Firm in the area of construction and contract law, including litigation, dispute avoidance, and contract preparation and negotiation. He primarily works with contractors, sureties, and other participants in the construction industry on a variety of legal matters involving public and commercial construction projects, including stadiums and arenas, waste water treatment facilities, wind farms, hotels, hospitals, and civil infrastructure (highways, bridges, and airports). Dan has significant experience resolving complex construction claims involving multiple parties through both informal negotiations and formal dispute resolution including arbitration and litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country.
Dan is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry and is the current Chair of the Forum’s Division 7 – Insurance, Surety and Liens. Dan is also a member of the construction and surety law section of the Indiana State Bar Association.
