Biography

Daniel L. Greene is a partner at Swope, Rodante P.A. and is recognized by Best Lawyers in the practice areas of Appellate Practice, Insurance Law, Legal Malpractice Law, and Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs. He works tirelessly to obtain justice on behalf of clients who have been catastrophically injured.

Daniel joined Swope, Rodante P.A. shortly after graduating from law school in 2017. Originally from Cooper City, Florida, he attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Legal Studies in 2014. He later returned to Florida and earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

During his undergraduate career, Daniel was a four-year member of Bowdoin's baseball and golf teams. As a senior, he received the Francis S. Dane Baseball Trophy, awarded to the student-athlete who exemplifies outstanding character, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm for the game.

While in law school, Daniel developed exceptional research and writing skills as a Teaching Assistant in Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy, a volunteer tutor, and a Book Award recipient in Legal Research. He also served as Forum Editor of the Florida Law Review and authored The Right to "Cure" a Child's Homosexuality?: A Constitutional Analysis of State Laws Banning Sexual Orientation Change Efforts on Minors, published by the Florida Law Review Forum in 2016.

As a legal intern with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Daniel prepared motions, deposition outlines, and legal memoranda across a broad range of civil matters, gaining valuable litigation experience before entering private practice.

Daniel has earned a reputation as a fierce advocate for his clients and has been instrumental in securing multiple multi-million-dollar trial verdicts. He has earned an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, one of the legal profession's highest peer-reviewed distinctions, and has also been recognized by Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, and The National Trial Lawyers.
