Dan Wintz joined Fraser Stryker in 2003 as a partner. He heads the Firm's Employee Benefits & ERISA Practice Group and is a senior member of the Firm's Estate Planning & Probate and Trust & Estate Administration Practice Groups. Dan brings over 35 years of employee benefit plan innovation and practical estate planning solutions to clients. Through successive career developments, Mr. Wintz has developed a unique set of qualified and nonqualified plans skills and perspectives that enable him to counsel employers, fiduciaries, administrators, investment managers, actuaries, consultants, information systems managers, and participants about all types of retirement and deferred compensation plan design, qualification, funding, administration, compliance, communication, and taxation.

Dan also developed a complementary practice focused on estate planning with special emphasis on addressing the unique issues that arise in effective and tax-efficient planning for significant qualified plan, executive deferred compensation, and equity-based compensation accumulations.
