Attorney Daniel J. Siegel represents clients in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and Social Security disability claims and assists clients with estate planning and other needs. Dan’s expertise ranges from handling major mass torts and arguing before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to smaller matters like appearing in traffic court during his 38-year career. Most clients do not know about all of the areas of Dan’s expertise, which have earned him a national reputation for excellence in many subjects.

Dan Siegel has handled everything from multimillion-dollar class actions to small claims matters. Of course, he has and continues to represent clients in automobile, workers’ compensation, and slip and fall cases, each with the same level of personal attention to his clients’ concerns. Whether a case needs to go to trial, settle, or be appealed, Dan will do what is in the client’s best interests, and the results show. He has been named Best Lawyers® 2022 Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants “Lawyer of the Year” in Philadelphia.

Dan’s appeals court decisions have protected and broadened the rights of countless people in areas ranging from workers’ compensation to motor vehicle insurance to personal injury. Commentators have noted that Dan’s cases have benefited more injured persons than any other Pennsylvania lawyer’s cases over the past 17 years. Judges also comment about the quality of Dan’s briefs and regularly cite his work in their opinions. As a result, Dan is the go-to workers’ compensation attorney, and personal injury attorney other Pennsylvania lawyers consult to help with their challenging cases. Clients appreciate the personal attention they receive from Dan, his colleague, Christa Frank High, Esquire, and paralegal/office administrator Pamela Myers, each of whom embraces their client-first approach.

When Dan opened his Havertown Delaware County office, he wanted to be the “neighborhood lawyer” for his friends and neighbors – and one of the main reasons he opened in Havertown, not Media, was to be closer to his clients. Then Dan was elected Haverford Township Commissioner, and he truly became the lawyer his neighbors called for advice. It also led Dan to create his estate planning and unique “Pay Once, Revise for Life Estate Planning Program.” Coupled with the firm’s comprehensive interview process, the stress of estate planning is reduced because there are no further costs for clients of the Haverford Havertown wills lawyer.

In addition, Dan helps his clients buy and sell homes and other matters that “everyday” people experience so that they can stay in the local area and be represented by someone they know and trust.

Attorney Siegel is a nationally recognized authority on legal ethics, technology, cybersecurity, techno-ethics, data protection, business/law office practice, and workflow management. His practice includes representing attorneys in Pennsylvania disciplinary matters; providing professional responsibility guidance to attorneys and firms; serving as appellate counsel; and representing individuals in workers’ compensation and personal injury matters.

Attorney Siegel is a frequent lecturer for bar associations and other groups throughout the country at continuing legal education (CLE) and other programs on topics ranging from ethics to litigation to workers’ compensation to legal advocacy to technology. He has been a speaker at more than 400 programs and has written over 250 articles on a wide range of topics. He is also the author of 15 books. He also writes, lectures, and works with law firms and businesses to improve their workflow by implementing technology in a jargon-free manner. Dan is firmly committed to giving back to the community, and from 2008 to 2021, he served as 4th Ward Commissioner in Haverford Township and was a member of the Board of the Haverford Partnership for Economic Development. Dan is also counsel for the Foundation for Ichthyosis and Related Skin Types and is on the Board of Directors for the Anti-Defamation League of Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey & Delaware.
