Recognized in Best Lawyers since 2016 Daniel A. “Danny” Thomas is an accomplished trial attorney who represents individuals and families in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. His practice includes trucking and motor vehicle accidents, product liability, toxic torts, nursing home abuse, and medical malpractice.
Throughout his career, Danny has achieved significant verdicts and settlements for his clients, including a $108 million wrongful death jury verdict and a $35.25 million wrongful death jury verdict, as well as numerous confidential six-, seven-, and eight-figure settlements. His results have earned repeated recognition from Missouri Lawyers Media, including being ranked the No. 1 plaintiffs’ lawyer in Missouri and receiving the organization’s Legal Champion Award twice.
Danny has also been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for Personal Injury Litigation and Product Liability Litigation, selected to Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers, named among the Top 100 Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers, and recognized by the Kansas City Business Journal as Best of the Bar. In addition to representing injured clients, Danny has been active in the legal community throughout his career. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and has served as a Lead Master of the Ross T. Roberts Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He is also a member of the National Advisory Board of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America.
Danny earned his undergraduate degree with distinction from Park University and his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas, and North Carolina, as well as multiple federal courts.
