Dan O'Malley

Attorney Daniel “Dan” O’Malley joined Raleigh Divorce Law Firm in September 2025. Since 2010, he has represented clients in family law matters throughout Raleigh, Wake County, and surrounding communities across North Carolina. Dan holds board certification in family law from the North Carolina State Bar.

Dan’s practice is focused on North Carolina family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony, separation agreements, mediation, and alienation of affection claims. He also represents clients in complex family law litigation involving substantial marital estates, business valuation issues, long-term support disputes, and high-conflict custody matters.

At Raleigh Divorce Law Firm, Dan works closely with individuals and families to provide practical legal guidance and consistent communication throughout each stage of the process. He helps clients understand North Carolina family law procedures, evaluate available options, and make informed decisions based on their goals and circumstances.

Dan regularly assists clients through negotiation, mediation, and courtroom litigation. He prepares each matter thoroughly and advocates for his clients in North Carolina family courts. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dan lived in Illinois, Maryland, and Pennsylvania before making Raleigh, North Carolina his home. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Juniata University and graduated cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dan primarily represents clients in Wake County and also handles family law matters in Johnston, Harnett, Lee, Durham, Chatham, Orange, and Franklin counties.

He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association, and 10th Judicial District Bar.
