Curtis J. Osterloh is a tax attorney at Scott Douglass & McConnico LLP in Austin, Texas. A significant portion of Curtis’s practice involves representing mixed beverage taxpayers before the Texas Comptroller’s Office. He has handled matters involving audits, redetermination hearings, and tax assessments related to mixed beverage taxes in Texas. Curtis has also represented clients in matters involving liquor-by-the-drink taxes in Tennessee.

Curtis also represents clients in disputes involving aircraft sales and use tax assessments. He served as lead counsel for Scott Douglass & McConnico LLP in an administrative hearing involving the structured purchase of a corporate aircraft and the application of Texas sales and use tax laws. The matter was ultimately resolved favorably for the client and other similarly situated taxpayers.
