Cory R. Weck chairs the Personal Injury Practice Group at McCune Wright Arevalo LLP and represents plaintiffs in personal injury litigation throughout Ontario, California and the greater Inland Empire. Raised in the San Bernardino Mountains, Mr. Weck has spent nearly three decades advocating for injured individuals and families, as well as clients connected to the United States Marine Corps, in a wide range of personal injury and product liability matters.
Mr. Weck’s background reflects a long-standing commitment to discipline, service, and achievement. He graduated with honors from Cornell University after being recognized by the Ken Hubbs Foundation as San Bernardino County’s Student Athlete of the Year, an award given annually to a single recipient. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Weck accepted a commission as a United States Marine Corps officer. From 1993 until his retirement as a Major in 2017, he served on multiple overseas deployments and received numerous individual commendations, including recognition as Young Lawyer of the Year for the United States Marine Corps by the American Bar Association.
In private practice, Mr. Weck has tried numerous jury cases involving significant six-, seven-, and eight-figure verdicts. Since 2010, he has received peer recognition through California Super Lawyers for his work in personal injury litigation. He has also been named by U.S. News & World Report as one of the “Best Lawyers” in America and has received repeated acknowledgment from National Trial Lawyers for his work representing plaintiffs. In 2019, he was honored as Inland Empire Trial Lawyer of the Year, followed by recognition as the “Jennifer Brooks” Lawyer of the Year for San Bernardino County in 2023.
Mr. Weck and his wife of 28 years, Lori, reside in Redlands, California, where they support community organizations including the Redlands Bowl, the Unforgettables Foundation, and Santa Claus Inc. He also serves on the advisory board for Congressman Pete Aguilar, assisting candidates seeking appointments to U.S. military academies. Their son, Jake, currently serves as a military police officer in the United States Navy.
