Conor J. Hulburt is a San Diego trial attorney and founder of Hulburt Law Firm APC who represents plaintiffs in catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation. He concentrates on cases involving defective products, dangerous roadway design, and serious vehicle collisions. He has recovered more than $150 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured people and families.
In May 2025, Hulburt served as lead trial counsel in Quiroz v. Caltrans, obtaining a $28.16 million jury verdict for a 13-year-old boy who suffered a catastrophic brain injury at a dangerous crosswalk. The Quiroz verdict was the largest jury verdict in Tulare County history. Best Lawyers named Hulburt the 2027 San Diego “Lawyer of the Year” for Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs.
Conor’s practice includes cases arising from commercial vehicle crashes, unsafe public roadways, defective vehicles and consumer products, and serious bicycle accidents. His cases have involved major corporations, insurers, and government entities, including Ford, Chrysler, Continental Tire, and Caltrans.
Conor approaches litigation as a search for the truth. He works closely with clients, experts, and witnesses to understand not only how an injury occurred, but how it changed a person’s life. At trial, mediation, and settlement conferences, he combines careful investigation, storytelling, and visual presentation to make complicated evidence understandable and compelling.

He earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he competed on the National Mock Trial Team and met his wife and law partner, Leslie Hulburt. Together, they lead Hulburt Law Firm and live in San Diego with their two sons.
