Connor Schratz advises schools, municipalities, Tribal Nations, and private entities on a wide variety legal matters. His practice focuses on employment law, including subjects like employee leave, wage and hour issues, collective bargaining and labor relations, discipline, and discrimination and harassment. He has extensive experience on issues that relate specifically to public entities, and regularly advises clients on compliance with Maine’s Freedom of Access Act, public meeting obligations, and First Amendment issues. He is also a member of Drummond Woodsum’s Tribal Nations practice group and advises tribal governments and tribal entities around the country.
Connor has been recognized by Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” in Labor and Employment Law – Management. In 2024, he was appointed by the Governor to serve on Maine’s Right to Know Advisory Committee. He frequently presents on legal issues at client seminars and trainings, and in his pro bono work he has successfully represented clients facing removal proceedings in federal immigration court.
Outside of the office, Connor spends time with his wife and kids, scoping out the best playgrounds and ice cream spots in southern Maine. He also enjoys hiking, reading, playing tennis, cooking, and traveling.
